REUNIONS 2007

Dear A4P Community, we're excited to share with you a few Reunions events that might be of interest.

Friday June 1, 2007

Race Relations Dialogue: How Did Our Princeton Experiences Shape Our Understanding of Leadership?

Moderated By David Campt '82
Time: 3:30-5:50pm
Location: Carl Fields Center (Former TWC)

Co-sponsored by Class of 1982, Princeton Prize for Race Relations, Association of Latino Alumni of Princeton, and Association of Black Princeton Alumni, and the Asian American Alumni Association of Princeton (A4P)

This interactive session will give alumni of many generations and backgrounds a chance to have facilitated small group reflection and discussion about their experience of race relations at Princeton and afterwards. The conversation will search for our individual and collective lessons about what it means for Princetonians to show leadership on this issue in the various institutions and communities in their lives. The session will be assisted by innovative technologies that allow transparent opinion polling, so the entire group's perspectives and priorities can be seen quickly by all participating.

A4P Town Hall Meeting/Roundtable Discussion

Moderated By David Campt '82
Time: 9:00-11:00
Location: Whig Senate Chamber (upstairs)

Please join A4P for the latest in our Reunions series - a moderated "town hall"-style discussion about current Asian American issues, followed by networking time. We'll start off the conversation with a handful of alumni and student leaders who will highlight the state of affairs, then open up for a lively conversation about timely topics (e.g., Asian stereotypes in this year's parody issue of The Prince, Asian American studies on campus, the workplace "bamboo ceiling").

Come share your thoughts and enjoy a light breakfast. We'll also set aside time for alums to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones.
